Milton Obote
1962 Milton obote is made prime minster: after he was appointed he told the people that his goal for uganda was to make it independent but it dident excatally work out the economy went down and the deaths went up with him in rule.
Idi Amin
1971 Milton Obote toppled by idi amin: idi amin led a military coup against Milton obote and took over miltons position. During the regime over 100,000 people were killed and during his time of power about 500,000 have been killed.
Godfrey Binaisa
1979 Tanzanians invade Uganda unifying many anti amin forces under the Uganda liberation from forcing amin to leave Uganda then Uganda is taken over by yusufu lule and then later ruled by Godfrey Binaisa.
NRA fighters
1979 Milton Obote relected but the people all believed that the elections were rigged and this led to a rebellion led by Yowri Musivinnis NRA. They say that over 100,00 people died from the fighting between obotes liberation army and the NRA.
Yoweri Museveni
1996 Museveni returned to office in Uganda first direct presidential election musivinni was returned to office because he was known to be a great leader and actually started to put Ugandan back on track.
